Connestee Falls Fishing Club Mentor Program

The Connestee Falls Fishing Club is dedicated to making fishing enjoyable and accessible for everyone. Many of us have had someone in our lives who introduced us to fishing and nurtured our love for the outdoors. To continue this tradition, we have created the Mentor Program to help others experience the same excitement and joy of fishing.

If you’d like to learn where the fish are and how to catch them in one of our Connestee Falls lakes, we’d be happy to connect you with an experienced angler. Our mentors are not only skilled and knowledgeable but also passionate about sharing their expertise to help others enjoy fishing as much as they do.

How It Works

If you’re interested in learning more, contact Ron Phillips via phone or email. He will ask a few questions about your experience and the type of fishing you enjoy, then match you with the right mentor.

We have not forgotten the kids

Each year in June the Fishing Club hosts its annual Fish-A-Rama—a fun, two-hour fishing competition for all CF families, especially the kids! Coaching, equipment, and bait are all provided, and participants can enjoy our famous “Tube-Steak” lunch. Prizes are awarded in various age categories for the biggest, smallest, and most fish caught. This is a true family affair, so bring the whole family and join in the fun!
