This year’s re-imagined Fish Fry at Atagahi Park will be held Sept. 22 and will have a new look, adhering to pandemic restrictions.
Because no crowds are allowed in the park, the Fry will have a drive-through format in which ticket-holders will pick up food and beverages from their cars, then find a place to eat on their own. The names of ticket-holders will be recorded at the time of purchase on the club’s website and checked off from that list during the drive-through.
Tickets are $16 and may be charged to your CF Member number or paid by check.
Cars will be directed through the park on the usual one-way road. Food, beverage and raffle/sales stops will be set up along the way. Members may show up at a choice of serving times, from 4:30 to 7 p.m.
Each meal will be delivered in a container. The menu will include a large catfish filet, deep-fried at the park, with salads and corn-on-the-cob. Beer and soft drinks are included.
A raffle for gift certificates for local businesses will be held, with tickets available on the website. And a special silent auction will be held for a Weber Smoker donated by Lowes. Also, on-line tickets are available for the annual Wine Bonanza. All raffle tickets and silent auction bids may be charged to your CF Member number or paid by check.
